Travel vaccinations
Our nursing team can provide comprehensive travel health advice and arrange any NHS-funded travel vaccinations that may be appropriate for your trip. Please be aware that there is often a waiting time for these appointments, as our nurses manage a complex and varied clinical workload.
We strongly recommend booking your initial travel health appointment as early as possible, ideally at least 6 to 8 weeks before departure. This allows sufficient time for vaccines to become effective and, where necessary, for vaccination courses to be completed.
Please note that some travel vaccinations are not available on the NHS. In these cases, you will need to attend a private travel clinic. We do not provide private travel vaccinations or issue private prescriptions for travel vaccines.
Many local community pharmacies also offer travel health services and may be able to assist with travel vaccinations and advice.
