Accurx - Our GP online system
Accurx is an easy-to-use platform where patients and healthcare professionals communicate.
Before you make a request
- Please keep your phone with you from the point that you submit your request.
- If the request is assessed by the doctor as urgent, then we aim to respond within 4 hours.
- For less urgent and routine medical queries, the information you provide will be assessed by a doctor the same working day and actioned appropriately.
- By submitting your request this allows our clinical team to offer the most appropriate care to a patient, based on the nature of your request, which may not necessarily be a GP, and with the right level of urgency.
- You may be asked for more information or offered an appointment within a very short turnaround time so again please keep your phone with you.
- Please note NHS regulations do not allow us to provide medical advice to patients abroad. Please contact us again when back in the UK.
- Please be aware that, depending on your symptoms, you may be referred for treatment with the pharmacist or locally commissioned minor illness hub in St Albans if appropriate for your ailment.
Make a request
All appointment requests and queries are reviewed on the same day by a GP. The GP will advise whether you need an appointment and, if so, which type. The GP may advise another course of action if more appropriate.
This service is available from 8am to 6:30pm on Monday to Friday.
If you are unable to use a computer, then please telephone us and a receptionist will complete this form for you.
